Paris Saint Germain kick off their Group A Champions League campaign with a home tie against Dynamo Kiev.
PSG made sure they were eligible for the Champions League by finishing second in the French Ligue 1 last season and by doing that they automatically qualified for the Group Stages.
Their domestic campaign is only four weeks old and they find themselves batting in mid-table in eighth place having won just one game - They are actually unbeaten this term with the other three matches ending in draw.
They will be hoping their luck changes when they rub shoulders with Europe’s elite in the Champions League this season.
Their opponents, Dynamo Kiev, ply their trade in the Ukrainian Premier League and they will be looking to take advantage of the feel good factor that remains following the Euro 2012.
Ukraine, themselves, failed to qualify from their group, but as co-hosts they put on a spectacular show and hope Kiev can bring more cheer in the Champions League.
Dynamo Kiev finished runners-up in the Premier League in 2011-12, four points behind champions Shakhtar Donetsk and therefore had to enter the tournament at the third qualifying round.
They managed a 3-1 aggregate win over Dutch side Feyenoord, before being pushed all the way in the Play-Off round against Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Ukraine outfit won the first leg 3-1 away in Germany, but were beaten 2-1 on home soil. Their performance in Germany was good enough to see the qualify.
The other two teams in Group A are Portuguese champions Porto and Croatian outfit Dinamo Zagreb.
Match betting for this Group A encounter sees Dynamo Kiev as the rank outsiders and they can be backed at 9/2 with Bet365

These two have only have met twice before back in 2009 in a two-legged UEFA Cup quarter-final with Dynamo Kiev winning 3-0 on aggregate.
